Jerusalem: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israel has accepted a truce proposal put forth by US Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff and versions proposed by other mediators. However, Netanyahu emphasized that Hamas is refusing to agree to a ceasefire agreement.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Netanyahu conveyed his remarks through a video clip on his X account. He highlighted the significance of his recent visit, describing it as successful and marked by a significant victory over Iran. Netanyahu mentioned that the visit opened up numerous opportunities and possibilities, which he is determined to pursue.
