Nna: Oman’s maritime security centre has reported that the Palau-flagged oil tanker Skylight was attacked approximately five nautical miles off the coast of Oman’s Musandam. The incident resulted in four individuals being wounded, and the entire crew of 20 people was subsequently evacuated from the vessel.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, no further information was immediately available regarding the perpetrators or the motive behind the attack. This incident follows a report from Oman’s state media that two drones targeted the port of Duqm, injuring one foreign worker. The attacks have raised concerns over the security of maritime routes and port facilities in the region.
