Abu dhabi: Anwar Gargash, diplomatic adviser to the UAE’s president, has issued a stern warning to Iran, stating that its aggressive actions in the Gulf have led to its isolation. Gargash’s remarks come as Iran’s retaliatory campaign in the region continues into its second day.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Gargash emphasized that Iran’s attacks on Gulf states were a miscalculation, which has resulted in its isolation during a critical time. He urged Tehran to reconsider its approach, stating, “The Iranian aggression against the Gulf states was a miscalculation and it isolated Iran at a critical juncture. Your war is not with your neighbours.”

Gargash further advised Iran to adopt a rational and responsible stance in its dealings with neighbouring countries to prevent further escalation and isolation. He stated, “Return to reason, to your surroundings, and deal with your neighbours rationally and responsibly before the circle of isolation and escalation widens.”
