Beirut: Prime Minister, Dr. Nawaf Salam, met this morning at the Grand Serail with US Ambassador to Lebanon Michel Issa, Head of the Military Coordination Group for Lebanon (MCG4L), General Joseph Clearfield, and the accompanying military delegation. The meeting focused on the military aspect of the negotiation framework and developments on the ground in southern Lebanon.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Premier Salam emphasized the necessity for Israel to halt its destruction operations, expand the scope of the pilot zones, and establish a clear timetable for Israeli withdrawal from Lebanese territory. The discussions underscored the importance of advancing negotiations and ensuring stability in the region.
