Beirut: The media office of Economy and Trade Minister, Amer Bisat, announced that the evacuation of the ministry's building was conducted as a precautionary measure. This action was taken pending the verification of concerns related to a phone call received by a nearby building.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the statement further indicated that the relevant security authorities have been contacted to follow up on the matter.
