Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, left Rafik Hariri International Airport this afternoon, heading to Spain for a two-day official visit, at the invitation of King Felipe VI of Spain and Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, President Aoun is accompanied on his visit by Foreign Minister Youssef Rajji and several advisors, as well as Lebanese Ambassador to Spain, Hani Shmaitli, who will join the delegation in Madrid.

The President is scheduled to meet tomorrow with King Felipe VI and Spanish Prime Minister Sanchez, with talks touching on bilateral relations between the two countries alongside regional and international issues.
