Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, met with MP Faisal Karami at Baabda Palace to discuss the general situation in the country.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, MP Karami stated that the visit aimed to reiterate support for President Aoun’s positions, particularly under the current circumstances, and to address the latest developments affecting the nation.

In addition, President Aoun received congratulatory cables commemorating the 82nd anniversary of Lebanon’s Independence Day. Notable messages came from the Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tariq, the Emir of Kuwait, Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, King Felipe VI of Spain, and the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
