Beirut: President Joseph Aoun departed Beirut's Rafic Hariri International Airport on Wednesday for Paris at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron for talks on developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as bilateral relations.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, on Thursday, Aoun will join Macron and Jordan's King Abdullah II at the opening of a preparatory meeting for the international conference in support of the Lebanese Army and Internal Security Forces. The meeting will be held at Les Invalides in Paris.
