Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, addressed the Board of Directors of the National Council for Scientific Research, led by Dr. Asaad Eid, emphasizing Lebanon's return to global recognition. He highlighted the critical role of the council in aiding the reconstruction of state institutions and supporting government and public administrations through essential studies and research, asserting that state-building is a collective responsibility.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, President Aoun called upon the council to prioritize the public interest, stating that their credibility is contingent upon their accomplishments. He reiterated Lebanon's reestablishment on the international stage and the ongoing efforts to rebuild the nation while addressing the tense situation in the south. The primary challenge remains the reconstruction in the aftermath of Israel's withdrawal from occupied areas and the subsequent deployment of the Lebanese army along the border.
