Beirut:Prime Minister Nawaf Salam received Council for South Lebanon President Hashem Haidar at the Grand Serail to discuss the council's ongoing work and operations.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the discussions included a review of Salam's recent visit to Nabatieh. During the meeting, Haidar briefed the Prime Minister on the projects being implemented by the Council for South Lebanon, especially those announced during the visit, and detailed the steps being taken to commence their execution.

In a separate meeting, Salam met with Banque du Liban Governor Karim Souaid. Their discussions centered on the current financial and banking conditions.
