Beirut: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Youssef Raggi, on Wednesday received Bishop Simon Faddoul, the Maronite Bishop of Our Lady of the Annunciation in West and Central Africa and Apostolic Visitor to the Maronites of Southern Africa. He was accompanied by Father Tony Fakhry, the Director General of the Lebanese Maronite Order and Head of Diaspora. The meeting focused on the conditions of Lebanese communities and the activities carried out by the diocese within its jurisdiction in the African continent.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Minister Raggi also met with Japanese Ambassador to Lebanon, Magoshi Masayuki, who visited on a farewell mission as he concluded his diplomatic duties in the country. During their meeting, Minister Raggi expressed gratitude to Ambassador Masayuki for his efforts in enhancing bilateral relations between Lebanon and Japan. He extended his best wishes for the ambassador’s future endeavors.
