Bkerke: Maronite Patriarch, Mar Bechara Boutros al-Rahi, on Monday welcomed Qatar's Ambassador to Lebanon, Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, at Bkerke. Their discussions centered on both local and regional issues, with a significant focus on the necessity to reject violence and prioritize the respect for human dignity.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Ambassador Al Thani commended the robust bilateral relations between Qatar and Lebanon. He reiterated Qatar's ongoing support for Lebanon and expressed optimism for the nation's peace and recovery.

In addition to meeting with the Qatari Ambassador, Rahi also had an audience with Abbot Hadi Mahfouz and newly ordained priests. The Patriarch offered them his blessings as they embarked on their spiritual mission.
