Resumption of flights between Damascus and Jeddah airports after an 8-year hiatus

Syrian Airlines announced the resumption of flights between Damascus International Airport and Jeddah Airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia starting November 7, 2024.

According to a statement by the Airlines reported by “SANA” news agency, “Flights to Jeddah Airport have been re-operated at a rate of two flights per week on Mondays and Thursdays of each week,” noting that operating these flights “will serve the community members between the two countries and activate the movement of transportation and communication at all levels.”

Director General Hatem Kabbas called on those wishing to book to contact the offices of Syrian Airlines, noting that “the regular operation of flights between the two airports had stopped on May 8, 2016.”
