Beirut: Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam is heading Saturday to the United States, where he will first visit New York to participate in the proceedings of the United Nations General Assembly and deliver Lebanon's address.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, on the sidelines of the General Assembly, PM Salam will hold a series of bilateral meetings with various heads of state and international officials. He will then travel to Washington, where he is scheduled to hold a series of meetings, most notably with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, as well as International Monetary Fund Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, World Bank Group President Ajay Banga, and other US and international officials.
