Salam Receives ‘Beirut Habibi’ Book, Highlights Importance of Preserving Capital’s Memory

Beirut: Prime Minister Nawaf Salam received Seven Management founder and Chairman Rabih Fakhreddine, who presented him with a copy of Beirut Habibi, published by Assouline, and briefed him on the process that led to the book's completion in coordination and cooperation with the publishing house.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Salam congratulated Fakhreddine on the initiative, stressing the importance of such publications in preserving Beirut's memory and showcasing its history, cultural identity, and heritage.

He said the book helps present Beirut to the world beyond the image of wars and crises, reflecting it instead as "an Arab Mediterranean city, rich in its diversity, heritage and the creativity of its people, and endowed with an enduring capacity for renewal."
