Beirut: Prime Minister Nawaf Salam on Tuesday met Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates, in the presence of UAE Ambassador to Lebanon Fahad Salem Saeed Al Kaabi.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, following the meeting, Salam emphasized that Lebanon's recovery and prosperity depend on strengthening its ties with its Arab partners. He noted that deeper Arab cooperation enhances the region's ability to achieve security, stability, and safeguard the interests of its peoples.
Salam stated, "Lebanon's natural place has always been, and will remain, within its Arab fold and among its Arab brothers." His remarks highlight the importance of regional alliances and partnerships for Lebanon's future.
