Salam’s Office Denies Fabricated Reports About Alleged Meeting with EU Official Kaja Kallas

Beirut: The media office of Prime Minister Nawaf Salam on Thursday denied reports circulated on social media claiming he made alleged remarks during a supposed meeting with EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas on April 21.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the office released a statement emphasizing that the reports were entirely false and fabricated. It stressed that Salam did not hold any bilateral meeting with Kallas in Luxembourg. The statement clarified that the prime minister only delivered a speech before European Union ambassadors collectively, noting that the address was publicly available.

The media office also criticized platforms relying on fabricated reports and anonymous sources, urging media outlets and the public to verify information through official sources before publishing claims related to the prime minister's positions or diplomatic activities.
