Beirut: MP Sami Gemayel announced on platform ‘X’ that legal action will be taken against Faisal Shukr for allegedly threatening Lebanese citizens with death for simply demanding a state. Gemayel emphasized the need for punishment for such public threats and revealed that Kataeb Party lawyers will be filing a complaint in his name with the Public Prosecution. The charges include inciting violence, murder, and endangering the unity and sovereignty of Lebanon.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Gemayel further stated that individuals who believe they can terrorize others with weapons and threats will face justice. He assured that the Kataeb Party will not allow a culture of intimidation to prevail and declared that the era of impunity is over. Gemayel expressed his commitment to building a state free from fear.
