Sarfand: The Mayor of Sarfand, Ali Khalifa, issued a statement calling on residents to take the Israeli threat seriously and to move to safe areas until the danger subsides.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, he also requested that all shops, businesses, restaurants, and caf©s close completely, following a call received by the Lebanese Civil Defense center instructing them to notify residents to evacuate their homes.
The statement further urged people who choose to stay to exercise extreme caution, avoid any locations that could pose a risk to their lives, and limit the use of cars and motorcycles to absolute necessity only.
He also emphasized the need to remove cars parked along roadsides to allow ambulances to pass freely, and reiterated the importance of not heading toward strike locations or hospital emergency entrances.
