Beirut: An Israeli Merkava tank has reportedly targeted the southern Lebanese border town of Khiam with four shells. This aggressive maneuver was part of a series of military actions in the region.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, the Israeli military further escalated tensions by demolishing a house in Khiam, located in the Marjeyoun district. The situation was compounded when an enemy drone dropped a bomb on the town of Al-Mansouri, which ignited a fire in the affected area.
In another development, the Israeli forces conducted a sweep operation using machine guns directed towards the town of Hadatha in the Tyre district's Bint Jbeil area. The operations have intensified concerns over the escalating military activities along the southern Lebanese border.
