Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, received a letter from French President Emmanuel Macron, delivered by French Charg© d'Affaires in Lebanon Bruno Da Silva. The letter extended an invitation for Lebanon to participate in a preparatory meeting scheduled to be held in Paris on September 17. This meeting is a precursor to the international conference aimed at supporting the Lebanese Armed Forces and Internal Security Forces.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the preparatory meeting will gather military delegations and experts from several countries. The discussions will focus on measures to bolster the support for Lebanon's military and security sectors in the face of ongoing challenges.
