Beirut: Israeli warplanes and drones on Thursday carried out a series of strikes earlier today across southern Lebanon, targeting the towns of Haris in Bint Jbeil district, Shhour in Tyre district and the area between Froun and Ghandoorieh. An additional strike hit Zawtar al-Sharqiyeh, while an Israeli drone also targeted Tebna.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, intermittent Israeli artillery shelling struck the towns of Arnoun and Kfartebnit, while several shells were fired toward Kounine in Bint Jbeil district.
The Israeli strike on Zrariyeh killed one person and wounded two others, according to initial reports. A second strike later targeted the town again, with ambulances dispatched to the area following reports of additional casualties.
