Beirut: Minister of Culture Dr. Ghassan Salameh received Swiss Ambassador to Lebanon, Marion Weichelt, and a delegation from the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the National Library in Sanayeh. The meeting focused on discussions regarding humanitarian issues and the promotion of peace in Lebanon.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Ambassador Tim Enderlin, Head of the Peace and Human Rights Department at the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, emphasized the delegation's commitment to supporting stability in Lebanon. Enderlin noted that their mission involves engaging with Lebanese officials to exchange views and leverage Minister Salameh's experience to bolster peace initiatives within Lebanese society.

The delegation also included Nicolas Masson, Head of the Mediation, Dialogue, and Joint Programs Department between Lebanon and Switzerland, and Geraldine Verda, Human Security Officer at the Swiss Embassy in Lebanon. Their visit underscored Switzerland's ongoing commitment to fostering stability and dialogue in Lebanon.
