Raggi Reaches Out to Kuwaiti Counterpart, Reaffirms Lebanon’s Commitment to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Beirut: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Youssef Raggi, on Thursday contacted by phone the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber, wishing him success in his new duties and affirming Lebanon's constant commitment to strengthening the distinguished fraternal relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Minister Raggi expressed his hope for "the continuation of bilateral cooperation between Lebanon and Kuwait across various fields, and for continued joint efforts to develop and strengthen these relations in a manner that serves the interests of both countries and their peoples."

For his part, the newly appointed Kuwaiti minister thanked his Lebanese counterpart for the call and congratulations, affirming Kuwait's keenness to continue supporting Lebanon and to strengthen the bonds of cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
