Beirut: The residents of Toulin and the town's municipality have urged the relevant authorities to secure electricity to operate the artesian well, which is a primary water source for approximately 600 families in the town.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the lack of a continuous electricity supply to operate the well has deprived nearly half of the residents who rely on its water.
The residents called for "providing a suitable generator for the well to ensure its regular operation and a reliable water supply," expressing their appreciation for the South Council exerted efforts, which played a key role in restoring the operation of the second well that supplies the other half of the town.
