Beirut: Tourism Minister, Laura Lahoud, on Monday inaugurated the meeting hall at the Ministry of Tourism, which was renovated through a grant from the Chinese Embassy in Lebanon. Minister Lahoud also discussed with the Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon, Chen Chuandong, the bilateral relations between the two countries, expressing appreciation for "China's role in supporting Lebanon and its people."

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Tourism Minister thanked the Chinese Ambassador and all the team work, emphasizing that "progress and continuity come through small yet steady steps," adding that "this hall will witness the development of future projects thanks to everyone's cooperation."

For his part, the Chinese Ambassador reaffirmed his country's continued support for Lebanon and its people, expressing hope for the achievement of progress, security, and stability soon.
