A bank depositor, M.Q., on Friday stormed a bank branch in Ghazieh – Sidon District, in the company of one person, demanding a refund of his deposit.

He threatened the bank’s employees with a military weapon, poured gasoline on the ground, and threatened to burn the branch in case his bank deposit was not handed to him.

A state of pandemonium prevailed inside the bank before the aforementioned depositor surrendered himself to the security forces.

It is to note that the depositor managed to withdraw $19,200 from his bank account. He handed it to someone who was waiting for him outside the bank before handing himself in.
