White House Restricts Reporters’ Access to Its Press Office

Washington: The Trump administration on Friday barred reporters from entering part of the White House press office without a prior appointment, citing the need to protect “sensitive materials.”

According to National news agency – Lebanon, Communications Director Steven Cheung announced in a memo that reporters were “no longer permitted” to visit a section containing the office of White House spokeswoman Carolyn Leavitt “without prior approval in the form of an appointment.”
