Marjayoun:Papal Nuncio Archbishop Paolo Borgia began his tour of the Marjayoun region with a visit to Deir Mimas, where he engaged with residents at Our Lady of the Assumption Church. The event was attended by the town's mayor, Tania Bernara, as well as local officials and representatives of various Christian sects.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, Borgia listened to the concerns of the residents amid the challenging circumstances facing the region. He emphasized the importance of restoring peace and security in southern Lebanon.

Mayor Bernara expressed gratitude for the Archbishop’s visit, noting that his presence provides moral support to the community and reflects his ongoing concern for their situation. She expressed hope that he would continue to communicate the town's issues to those who can support its residents.
