Yarzeh: Lebanon's Army Commander, General Rodolph Haykal, on Tuesday received at his Yarzeh office, the Chief of the Italian Defense Staff, General Luciano Portolano, on top of a military delegation, in the presence of the Italian Ambassador to Lebanon, Fabrizio Marcelli. The meeting addressed the general situation and current developments, as well as ways to support the army in light of the challenges it is facing, in addition to preparations and available options for the post-UNIFIL mission phase in Lebanon.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, General Haykal also received the Mufti of Baalbek-Hermel, Sheikh Bakr Al-Rifai, and the Head of Arsal Municipality, Munir Al-Hujairi, along with a delegation of local dignitaries. The meeting discussed the general situation in Lebanon, emphasizing the importance of preserving internal unity and rallying around the army. Matters and issues related to the town of Arsal and its residents were also addressed.
