Beirut: FPM leader, MP Gebran Bassil, in a post on X, criticized the government, saying that while political factions agree on issues such as appointments, shares, and taxes, they only pretend to disagree over weapons.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Bassil added that the government imposes additional fees on citizens and accused it of failing to control inflation, which he said has reached 20% since the start of the war, compared to around 2% in countries like Jordan.
