Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri held a meeting at the second presidency headquarters in Ain El Tineh with Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah. The gathering included the Kuwaiti delegation and the Charg© d’Affaires of the Kuwaiti Embassy in Beirut, Counselor Yassin Al-Majed.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, discussions during the meeting focused on the general situation in Lebanon and the region, recent developments, and the bilateral relations between Lebanon and Kuwait. Sheikh Sabah emphasized Kuwait’s unwavering support for Lebanon, underscoring the commitment of His Highness the Emir of Kuwait and the Kuwaiti people.
In a separate engagement, Speaker Berri welcomed the newly appointed Indonesian Ambassador to Lebanon, Dicky Komar, who visited as part of his protocol duties. The two discussed regional developments and the bilateral ties between Lebanon and Indonesia.
Additionally, Canadian Ambassador to Lebanon, Stephanie McCollum, met with Berri to discuss political and field developments, as well as the general situation in Lebanon and bilateral relations between Lebanon and Canada.
The House Speaker also met with Czech Ambassador to Lebanon, Ester Lauferov, for a protocol visit marking her assumption of duties. Their discussions included the general situation and bilateral relations.
Berri concluded his series of meetings by receiving Presidential Advisor Brigadier General Andre Rahal, in the presence of his Media Advisor, Ali Hamdan.
