Tripoli: Economy and Trade Minister Amer Bisat and Tripoli Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture President Toufic Dabboussi have signed a significant cooperation agreement on Thursday. The agreement aims to enhance, streamline, and simplify procedures related to the registration and protection of intellectual property rights.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the agreement seeks to deliver faster and more specialized services in the field of intellectual property. It marks a pivotal step toward strengthening intellectual property protection and leveraging Lebanese expertise and innovation, especially in northern Lebanon, to bolster economic growth both regionally and nationally.
During the signing ceremony, attended by chamber vice presidents Ibrahim Fawaz and Nakhle Yamin, Minister Bisat emphasized the "historic, longstanding and deep-rooted" cooperation with the Tripoli chamber across various economic sectors. He highlighted the importance of this agreement in supporting economic development and fostering innovation throughout Lebanon.
