Beirut: Minister of Energy, Joe Sadi, on Thursday announced the launch of a national campaign to promote energy efficiency in households, stressing that the initiative aims to raise awareness about the importance of saving energy.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the Minister of Information, Dr. Paul Morcos, underlined the ministry’s openness to working with Italy and benefiting from Italian expertise to advance Lebanon’s media sector. Morcos noted that Italy today stood by Lebanon in the field of sustainable energy, particularly in energy conservation, emphasizing that sustainable construction is the cornerstone for reducing energy consumption and lowering costs.

The campaign coincides with the rollout of Italian energy-efficient appliances programs, which include financial grants for citizens purchasing such devices.
