Beirut: The oil prices in Lebanon have seen significant changes today, with gasoline prices surging and diesel prices declining. As the country continues to grapple with economic challenges, the adjustments in fuel prices reflect ongoing volatility in the energy market.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the price of gasoline (95 octanes) has increased by LBP 43,000, bringing the new price to LBP 2,543,000. Similarly, gasoline (98 octanes) has seen a rise of LBP 42,000, resulting in a new price of LBP 2,560,000. In contrast, the price of diesel has decreased by LBP 11,000, now costing LBP 2,254,000. Meanwhile, the price of a gas canister has remained stable at LBP 1,498,000.
These changes in fuel prices are occurring amidst a backdrop of economic instability in Lebanon. As the population faces fluctuating energy costs, the impact on daily life and business operations remains a pressing concern for many citizens.
