Geagea Receives Kuwaiti Ambassador Sharji, Discusses Bilateral Ties and Developments


Maarab: Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea on Tuesday received Kuwait’s newly appointed ambassador to Lebanon, Mohammad Sultan Al-Sharji, at his residence in Maarab. This meeting marked Al-Sharji’s first official visit since assuming his post, and he was accompanied by members of the Kuwaiti embassy delegation.



According to National News Agency – Lebanon, discussions centered on the current situation in Lebanon and regional developments. Both Geagea and Al-Sharji emphasized the enduring and significant ties that exist between Lebanon and Kuwait.



The participants highlighted the necessity of enhancing bilateral relations across political, economic, and development sectors. They also agreed on the importance of ongoing coordination on issues of mutual interest, aiming to support stability and foster cooperation between the two nations.
