Beirut: Director General of Lebanon's General Security, Hassan Choucair, on Friday welcomed Lebanese Ambassador to Russia Bachir Azzam, at his office. Discussions focused on the general situation in Lebanon and the region, as well as the situation of the Lebanese community in Russia.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting provided an opportunity for both officials to exchange insights on current events impacting Lebanon and to address concerns related to Lebanese nationals residing in Russia. The talks underscored the ongoing collaboration between Lebanon's General Security and the Lebanese diplomatic mission in Russia to support and safeguard the interests of their citizens abroad.
