Beirut: In response to recent Israeli escalations in Southern Lebanon, Hezbollah has issued a statement urging Lebanese authorities to conduct a comprehensive review of their strategies to preserve the nation's sovereignty and rights. The statement comes after what Hezbollah described as an "aggressive escalation" involving attacks on civilian areas in the southern town of Ansar and Deir Al-Zahrani, resulting in the death of eleven individuals, including women and children, and injuring twelve others.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Hezbollah accused the Israeli government, led by Prime Minister Netanyahu, of escalating the conflict to enhance his domestic political standing and to cater to electoral objectives. The organization also attributed responsibility for the ongoing aggression to the United States, which it claims supports Israel.

Hezbollah's statement criticized the Lebanese authorities for engaging in direct negotiations and making concessions to Israel, despite ongoing attacks and what Hezbollah describes as aggressive intentions towards Lebanon. The party urged the authorities to adopt a more patriotic and assertive stance, arguing that reliance on U.S. mediation is ineffective due to perceived American complicity with Israeli actions.

Furthermore, Hezbollah condemned the U.S. ambassador to Lebanon's recent call for the disarmament of the resistance, suggesting that the ambassador should instead pressure Israel to vacate occupied areas. The statement emphasized that the ambassador's stance prioritizes Israeli security over Lebanese sovereignty.

Hezbollah concluded by calling on all Lebanese citizens to recognize the risks posed by the current authority's actions to Lebanon's unity, security, and independence. The group warned Israel that further aggressions would be met with a determined response to defend Lebanon's sovereignty and dignity.
