JUDGE AKIKI BEGINS INVESTIGATIONS INTO KHALDE SECURITY EVENTS UNDER SUPERVISION OF OUEIDAT

The Government’s Commissioner to the Military Court, Acting Judge Fadi Akiki, commissioned the army intelligence to conduct the preliminary investigations and search to arrest those involved in the Khalde events, starting with the killing of citizen Ali Shibli, far-reaching yesterday’s clashes, as well as to identify and arrest the gunmen who participated in the clashes that left a number of dead and wounded.

 

He also ordered a field survey of the scene of the clashes, and asked the Internal Security Forces to present him with the reports they had prepared regarding these events.

 

Judge Akiki had started the preliminary investigations yesterday evening, under the direct supervision of the State Prosecutor, Judge Ghassan Oueidat.
