Beirut: Public Prosecutor at the Court of Cassation, Judge Ahmad Rami Al-Hajj, has issued a judicial directive to the Director General of the Internal Security Forces, Major General Raed Abdallah, the Director General of General Security, Major General Hassan Choucair, the Director General of State Security, Major General Edgar Lawandos, and the Directorate of Intelligence of the Lebanese Army. The directive instructs them to take the necessary security measures and procedures to prevent riots, attacks on public and private property, road closures, and any obstruction to citizens' movement, as well as to prevent any acts that could undermine public security.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Judge Al-Hajj also requested that the security agencies identify those responsible for any violations in preparation for taking the appropriate legal action against them.
