Riyadh: Washington's envoy, Jared Kushner, son-in-law of US President Donald Trump, met with the Hamas delegation, headed by Khalil al-Hayya, in Egypt on Sunday, according to Sky News Arabia.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received Kushner in the city of El Alamein in northern Egypt. The discussions centered on the implementation of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, shortly after a Hamas delegation met with Egyptian intelligence chief Hassan Rashad.
El-Sisi and Kushner's meeting focused on developments in the Palestinian issue. They emphasized the necessity for all parties to fulfill their commitments under the ceasefire agreement to halt the conflict in the Gaza Strip. This agreement was reached at the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit in October 2025, as stated by the Egyptian presidency.
