Beirut: Labor Minister Mohammad Haidar on Monday issued Decision No. 159, extending the implementation of Decision No. 157, originally set for November 16, 2025. This decision allows employers and foreign workers who are in violation of foreign employment regulations to regularize their legal status until September 30, 2026.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the ministry stated that the extension aims to facilitate compliance with labor laws and organize the labor market. It also encourages those affected to complete the necessary procedures before the deadline to avoid legal action.
