Makki: We Are Working to Consolidate Ceasefire Amid Ongoing Israeli Attacks


Beirut: Minister of State for Administrative Development, Dr. Fadi Makki, has expressed deep concern over the continued Israeli attacks on Lebanese territories. In a recent post on his “X” account, Makki highlighted the impact of the attacks on his hometown of Habboush, noting the loss and suffering endured by civilians, including women and children. He extended condolences to the families of the victims and wished for a swift recovery for those injured.



According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Dr. Makki called upon the international community to take decisive action to halt the Israeli aggression. He urged global leaders to fulfill their responsibilities by exerting pressure to stop what he described as ongoing violations against civilians and the systematic destruction of villages.



Makki emphasized the Lebanese government’s commitment to reinforcing the ceasefire amidst the attacks. He assured that efforts are underway to cease hostilities across all Lebanese territories, aiming to bring an end to the violence and restore peace in the region.
