Beirut: Deputy Prime Minister Tarek Mitri met with Greek Orthodox Metropolitan of Beirut Elias Audi, focusing on Orthodox and educational matters and the country's overall situation.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, Mitri shared insights on the government's reform efforts, detailing discussions on addressing Lebanon's challenges in a rational and equitable manner. He also updated Audi on recent Cabinet decisions, including the prime minister's stance on extending Solidere's mandate.
Mitri noted Audi's dedication to public interest and the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Beirut's shareholder priorities, emphasizing the need to implement decisions from the shareholders' General Assembly.
