Baabda: Following his meeting with President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, MP Ibrahim Kanaan emphasized that “financial reform is not just an election slogan, but rather an ongoing process to guarantee rights, transparency, and accountability. Just as sovereignty is indivisible, citizens’ bank deposits are also an indivisible right.”

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Kanaan stated that the state protects all citizens, and it is in everyone’s interest to strengthen it and ensure its continued existence. He highlighted that unity around this goal is the way to safeguard Lebanon during this period of major regional and international upheavals.
