Beirut: Prime Minister Nawaf Salam on Wednesday welcomed the Board of Trustees of the Makassed Philanthropic Islamic Association, led by the association’s president, Faisal Sinno, at the Grand Serail. The meeting took place on Wednesday morning.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Sinno conveyed the association’s full support for President Joseph Aoun and Prime Minister Salam, praising their initiatives to steer Lebanon in a positive direction. The dialogue underscored the association’s commitment to backing the country’s leadership in their efforts to stabilize and improve Lebanon’s situation.

In a separate engagement, Prime Minister Salam conferred with MP Mohammad Suleiman to examine the latest political developments. The discussion also highlighted the urgent service and development requirements in the Akkar region, emphasizing the need to address these critical issues to enhance the welfare of the local community.
