President Aoun Condemns Terrorist Attacks on Saudi Arabia, Expresses Solidarity

Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, on Tuesday condemned the terrorist attacks that targeted several Saudi cities today, including Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jizan, and Najran, which struck civilian and economic sites and wounded a number of civilians, including women and children.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, President Aoun expressed deep concern over the escalation that threatens the security and stability of Saudi Arabia. He strongly condemned the act of aggression, describing it as a violation of the sovereignty of a brotherly country and a threat to the safety of its citizens and residents.

President Aoun affirmed Lebanon's complete solidarity with Saudi Arabia, emphasizing that the kingdom's security is intertwined with that of Lebanon and the broader Arab region. He called for unified Arab and international condemnation of the attacks, stating that any targeting of Saudi sovereignty is unacceptable.

General Aoun extended condolences to the victims' families and wished the injured a speedy recovery. He reiterated Lebanon's support for Saudi Arabia in safeguarding its security, stability, and sovereignty.
