Baabda: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, on Wednesday received at Baabda Palace, the Director of the Middle East and Central Asia Department at the International Monetary Fund, former Minister Jihad Azour. During their meeting, they discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the region, as well as current economic and financial developments.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the discussions between President Aoun and Jihad Azour focused on the economic challenges facing the country. The meeting aimed to address Lebanon's ongoing financial issues and explore potential solutions in collaboration with the International Monetary Fund.
