Geneva: Thousands of people demonstrated in the Swiss city of Geneva to protest Israel’s starvation policy against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the protesters gathered in the English Garden on Saturday evening and organized a sit-in on the main street opposite the garden to express their rejection of starvation and Israel’s war of extermination in Gaza.

The demonstration turned into a march that toured Geneva’s neighborhoods for hours, with people waving the Palestinian flag and chanting anti-Israel and pro-Palestine slogans in English, French, and Arabic. Participants also banged on empty pots, a reference to starvation and deaths from hunger in Gaza.

During the demonstration, protesters called for a boycott of Tel Aviv and criticized governments cooperating with it.
