Aid Convoy Reaches Marjayoun Villages as Relief Efforts Expand

Marjayoun: A humanitarian convoy of 15 trucks loaded with essential supplies arrived today in Christian villages in Marjayoun district, with unloading operations taking place in Qlayaa under the supervision of the local municipality.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the convoy was organized by the World Food Programme, with contributions from international partners including UNICEF. Aid included food supplies, hygiene kits, drinking water, blankets, mattresses, and basic kitchen items to support affected families amid ongoing hardship.

Organizers said the convoy marks the first phase of a broader emergency response plan, with additional shipments expected in the coming days.
